Cap Karma

This blog is set up for the cap making community of ladies at the San Francisco International Airport. The caps are for chemo patients and are donated to a local hospital. The hand made caps (knitted or crocheted) are a token of our prayers and well wishes for the recipient.

My projects....

I've been thinking about the caps I want to make. I want to do something I hadn't made before and try a few new things. This is what I have planned:

1. Make the designer cap that Christina made last year

2. I want to make some male caps - found some of these patterns:

http://www.mlminspirations.com/patterns/HisHat/hishat.html

3. I was thinking of this one for the knit-along:
http://www.knittingpureandsimple.com/freehat.html

4. And here are a few others I have on my list:

So what are you all planning?

I think Marnie MacLean's His Hat is an excellent choice. It's one of the hat patterns I've saved because I know I will work on it someday.

How interesting, I've always gone to http://www.marniemaclean.com instead of http://www.mlminspirations.com. I didn't know about the latter. Both sites are virtually identical.

I've been thinking about a hat with cables. The Cap Karma Hat. :-)
