Cap Karma

This blog is set up for the cap making community of ladies at the San Francisco International Airport. The caps are for chemo patients and are donated to a local hospital. The hand made caps (knitted or crocheted) are a token of our prayers and well wishes for the recipient.

Finished project

This was such an easy hat to make. If you're interested, I have many buttons to pick from.

This may be a dumb question, but I'm a pretty new knitter and I want to make my first hat. I really like this one and was wondering if you wouldn't mind sharing the pattern with me. Thank you!

Katy,

I think V used the Republic Hat pattern found here: http://www.tradebit.com/filedetail.php/838572

We also have a Patterns page that links to A LOT of hat patterns. Check it out here:

Thanks so much for the uber fast response! I really didn't expect a response so quickly, but I'm glad I checked anyway as I was happily surprised. Best of luck with the chemo caps. Hopefully when I get a little better and faster with my knitting I can start donating some hats to the local cancer center. There are a large number of children with cancer at the hospital here in town and I think it'd be awesome to make some hats for them. Great idea, and thanks again!!! =)

Hi Katy,

Smariek mentioned that you're having trouble with getting the pattern. I had that too. Save it to your computer and then it will open just fine. If it doesn't, get in touch and I can email it to you.
