Cap Karma

This blog is set up for the cap making community of ladies at the San Francisco International Airport. The caps are for chemo patients and are donated to a local hospital. The hand made caps (knitted or crocheted) are a token of our prayers and well wishes for the recipient.

Vicki's red & black slip stitch hat

Here's a pic of Vicki's latest hat. It's my slip stitch hat pattern. I think hers looks great in black and red.

Well, we've switched over to New Blogger. That means that you ladies who had access to post on this blog (Marisa, MLE, Rebecca) will need to sign up for and use a Google Account to access Cap Karma now. I'm guessing it will prompt you to sign up for a Google Account when you attempt to login with your old Blogger login/password.

Christina's latest hat

I noticed that this one hasn't yet been posted to the blog. It's Christina's latest, a beautiful green & black hat. That makes 48 hats we've made this second season. Not bad ladies! :-)

Every time I see these beautiful crochet hats, I tell myself that I must try to crochet one too. But for now, I seem to be stuck with knitting...

Finished project

This was such an easy hat to make. If you're interested, I have many buttons to pick from.

Here's another hat suggestion, Libby Grant's Garmisch Hat. Here's the link to her blog, the pattern is a Word document available from her sidebar on the right side.

Completed project

It's been a very long time since I've actually worked on and finished a project. We have a new feline family member who insists that yarn is a play thing.

Another One

I finished another cap last night. This is a simple one - basic seed stitch.
